Planning and having a broad overview are key to successful project management. Implement’s Project Management Programme will provide you with an extensive toolbox and equip you for how to plan your project, lead your project team and ensure progress and impact of your project. You will learn how to achieve the best results from the team and yourself.
Implement’s Project Management Programme will help strengthen your project management methods as well as your leadership competences. Thus, you will be well-equipped if you decide to obtain an IPMA® certification later on.
The programme is divided into four separate courses, allowing you to complete the whole Project Management Programme at your own pace. This way, you will get the opportunity to apply some of the theoretical tools you learn. Similarly, this will enable you to reflect on yourself and your role as project manager.
The toolbox contains a number of key tools that are both necessary and effective. This applies no matter what organisation you work for or what type of project you work on. The course strengthens your understanding of the methods we use when working on projects, the fundamental planning and follow-up tools as well as your role as project manager. You will learn to create an overview, plan, organise and set up a budget for your project.
Facilitation is about utilising the project participants’ knowledge and experience in a process that is both carefully thought out and well managed. As a project manager, you must be able to do this – and there is always room for improvement. The course focuses on strengthening you in your role as project manager of a project team. You will be introduced to various methods, which you will have ample opportunity to put to use in a number of workshops.
This exam provides documentation of your competences in project management. More importantly, it is a great opportunity to brush up on what you have learnt and become an even better project manager. After passing the exam, you will receive an exam certificate. In addition, you will receive a feedback report on your strengths and development areas. To take the exam, it is a prerequisite that you have completed Project Management 1 and 2.
This course programme will provide you with an extensive toolbox and equip you for how to manage your project, lead your project team and ensure a close collaboration with the steering committee. The course ensures high quality and flexibility by combining classroom training, webinars and e-learning in a virtual learning environment.
Each project has its challenges. As a project manager, it is your job to manage and navigate your project to succeed with the project and to obtain the desired impact. During this course, you will learn how to handle the challenges that may arise during a project. You will also be able to ensure active management of project progress and resolve conflicts that may arise in the organisation.
Project participants engage in projects that are well managed. Through your ability to inspire and create followship, you ensure that your project gets the needed attention and strong engagement from project owner, steering committee, project participants and project stakeholders. During the course, you will learn how to become more clear about what you stand for, such as rules and values, and you will strengthen your ability to build and maintain a strong relationship with all parties involved.
When you have completed Project Management 1-4, you can take the exam Project Excellence® Advanced to get a certificate of your new competences. In addition, you will receive a feedback report on your strengths and development areas. The report will help you identify areas to focus on with the purpose of developing as a project manager. To take the exam, it is a prerequisite that you have completed Project Management 1-4.
It is possible to divide the Project Management Programme into two separate parts. Part 1 includes the first two courses and is completed with an exam. Thus, you will be able to deep dive into or brush up on the tools and processes that are necessary to lead a successful project. After completing part 1, you can choose to continue on to Implement’s Project Management Programme, part 2.
When you have completed Implement’s Project Management Programme, part 1, you can choose to take the last two courses as one package and complete it with an exam – Project Excellence® Advanced – to get documentation of your new competences and that you have completed Implement’s Project Management Programme.
Whether you are about to start working on your first project or you are already an experienced project manager, you will be able to design a course programme that helps you build up an extensive toolbox and develop in your role as project manager.
