PRINCE2® certification
A PRINCE2® certification strengthens your skills in project management and gives you proof that you are able to manage and lead projects with the world's most widespread and recognised project management model.
PRINCE2® is the world’s most widely used and recognised project management model based on best practice. PRINCE2® focuses on the framework for projects and how to ensure effective communication, focus on tasks and delegation through the different layers of the project organisation.
PRINCE2® consists of two levels of training: PRINCE2® Foundation and PRINCE2® Practitioner.
PRINCE2® Foundation certification
With a PRINCE2® Foundation certification, you will get a certificate stating that you are able to plan, organise and manage projects using the PRINCE2® methodology.
PRINCE2® Practitioner certification
With a PRINCE2® Foundation certification, you will get a certificate stating that you have gained a deeper understanding of the PRINCE2® methodology and how to contextualise and apply the elements of PRINCE2® in practice.

Who can obtain PRINCE2® certification?
A PRINCE2® certification is aimed at project managers and project participants who want insight into the methodology and a strong foundation for planning, management and leadership of projects.
There are no specific course requirements for becoming certified in PRINCE2® Foundation, which gives access to becoming a certified PRINCE2® Practitioner. However, a PRINCE2® certification is only available from authorised PRINCE2® providers.
There are no specific requirements for prior experience, but you will get the most out of a PRINCE2® course if you have basic knowledge of the project management elements and have previous experience working on projects.
