PMI® certification exam preparation
Become a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® or become a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)®. We can help you prepare for the certification exam. During the preparation you will learn to understand the Project Management Institute, A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge, (PMBOK® Guide) - Fifth Edition, Project Management Institute, Inc., 2013, which contains a series of excellent project management processes and methods. Besides learning something new you can also use the subsequent certification on your CV or as a milestone on your career path as project manager.
The course will help you understand the PMBOK® Guide and provide you with good preparation for the entire certification process from the application is submitted to the actual exam. The course consists of three elements: sparring, e-learning, and the books PMBOK® Guide and PMP® Exam Prep. The course is taught in English and the subsequent certification is also in English.
Participants
You already know the project management tools and would like to acquire a PMI® certification as a project manager. The course is aimed at project managers who would like to become CAPM or PMP certified and have neither the opportunity nor the time to participate in a course stretching over several course days. The course is carried out as blended learning, which allows you to work around an otherwise busy schedule and carry out the modules whenever it suits you.
Main content
The course consists of 3 elements:
- E-learning: 16 modules (PMP) or 14 modules (CAPM)
- Books: PMBOK® Guide (5th edition) and PMP Exam Prep (8th edition).
- 7 Sparring sessions
Periodically throughout the course, you will participate in sparring sessions with a PMI® certified consultant from Implement. The consultant will provide guidance on the application, clarification on course content and preparation for both the test and the exam.
The consultant will contact you on fixed dates to follow up on your progress and clarify any questions you may have. It is up to you whether the sparring is to take place via telephone meetings or at Implement Learning Institute’s office. The course includes six sparring sessions with a duration of approx. 30 minutes.
The course consists of five phases where you will be introduced to PMI® terms, methodology and the different processes in the PMBOK® Guide.
When you have completed the entire course, you are ready to test your PMI® competences via a test exam included in one of the e-learning modules.
You should expect to spend approximately 175 hours on exam preparation.

The course fee does not include certification. Certification fee has to be paid directly to PMI.
PMI requires that you have a certain amount of experience with project management to become certified. You can read about the PMI® requirements and the certification fee payable to PMI for the actual certification at www.pmi.org or www.pmi-dk.org.
